Masters students from Johns Hopkins University collaborate with startups incubated at IPN

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed a group of international Master’s students from the Master of Science in Engineering Management at Johns Hopkins University, based in Baltimore, United States of America, as part of a partnership with the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD).
Between 6 and 14 January 2026, the students took part in an intensive course integrated into IPN’s business ecosystem. During the initiative, they collaborated with three incubated startups, Present Technologies,Takinobori, and Flowbotic, developing activities focused on the analysis of their business models and market positioning.
The initiative provided students with direct exposure to the innovation ecosystem of Instituto Pedro Nunes and insight into how companies carry out their activities. The course concluded with final presentations, during which the students presented the results of the work developed throughout the initiative.
