Instituto Pedro Nunes Promotes Workshop on Thermal Conductivity Analysis

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), through the Laboratory for Wear, Testing and Materials (LED&MAT), is organising the Workshop on Thermal Conductivity Analysis: TPS and Hot Disk Method. The event will take place on 26 October 2023, starting at 10am, in Building C of IPN.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts in the field to explore the methodology and applications of thermal conductivity analysis, with a focus on the TPS and Hot Disk methods.
The first part of the event will consist of a theoretical presentation covering the methodology and its main applications. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a practical demonstration session with Hot Disk equipment, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of this technique.
In addition, participants have the opportunity to submit samples for analysis during the workshop. To do so, simply indicate this intention on the enrolment form for later selection.
The sessions will be conducted in Portuguese and English.
