Fields of activity
IPN has extensive experience in phytopathogenic microorganisms that pose a growing threat to the agro-environmental, forestry and soil systems. In parallel, IPN has the technical and scientific knowledge necessary for the structural and functional characterisation of microbiomes present in various matrices, in order to assess the ecosystem services, they provide. This holistic approach makes it possible to infer the impact of various factors (diseases, agricultural practices, cultivars, etc.) on the microbiome and to develop bio-based solutions by modelling microorganisms and/or adopt more sustainable practices that contribute to increasing ecosystem resilience.

Fields of activity
The existence of multiple processing technologies and material characterisation tests allow IPN to work on the development of waste recovery processes and/or by-products from various sectors of activity, contributing to their increased value as raw materials through recycling processes, reuse and incorporation into integrated solutions at an industrial scale. These activities encompass materials as diverse as those from the ceramic, food, paper/wood fibres and metal-mechanics industries.
