INNHospital: Towards a new hospital model based on Innovation and Knowledge Transfer

Challenge

The European Healthcare System field has been characterized by a broad scientific development and a great specialization, however only on isolated occasions it is possible to transfer the results obtained in basic and clinical research to the private sector.

Solution

MAIN OBJECTIVE: To promote research, technological development and innovation.

Moving forward to defining a new role for the Hospital in the Society, in which hospitals are not only resource consumers, but are entities that produce economic returns derived from the exploitation of scientific and health care knowledge through the development of innovative products and services.
For this to happen, the project focuses on the promotion of culture and the creation of structures and methodologies to support innovation, enhancing the participation of the business community and promoting the transfer of knowledge between hospitals and its ecosystem of innovation.
