On May 5th, 2026, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) hosted a training and demonstration session for digital transformation as part of the PTCentroDiH Roadshow, gathering companies and entities interested in exploring advanced digital technologies.
The Technological Training Session included several pitches presenting solutions developed by PTCentroDiH partners. Hugo Amaro, from IPN's Informatics and Systems Laboratory (LIS), led a session dedicated to Generative Artificial Intelligence trends and tools, presenting practical examples of how this technology impacts business processes and strengthens organizational competitiveness.
IPN also featured in the Roadshow’s technological demonstration session with a visit to its Laboratory for Wear, Testing and Materials (LED&MAT). Participants engaged with innovative circular economy solutions, specifically 3D printing applications in construction and decision support systems for recycling photovoltaic panels.
Part of the PTCentroDiH project and co-organized by the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, the session reinforced IPN's role in supporting corporate digitalization and the transfer of knowledge and technology to the business sector.
