On 26 March 2026, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed a group of Italian students as part of the PCTO (Pathways for Transversal Skills and Guidance) programme, focusing on the development of transversal skills and career guidance.
The visit aimed to provide participants with direct contact with the innovation ecosystem promoted by IPN, allowing them to gain insight into how the incubator operates.
The session was led by Carlos Nunes, Project Manager at the incubator, who presented IPN’s main activities, the skills valued in a business context, and the projects currently under development, highlighting the role of IPN in supporting the creation and growth of technology-based companies.
Throughout the initiative, participants had the opportunity to meet some of the companies incubated at IPN, which shared their areas of activity and examples of the projects they develop, such as Geometrica Innovations, represented by João Barbosa de Melo and José Belo, Takinobori, by David Palma, and Haupper, by Carlos Santos.
The visit provided a closer look at the business and technological landscape, contributing to a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with the job market in the field of innovation.
