Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is promoting the ATTRACT Development Cycle for AI Startups, an intensive capacity-building programme aimed at Artificial Intelligence startups, which will take place between 23 March and 8 May 2026, at IPN.

ATTRACT is structured as a technical, business, and regulatory capacity-building programme, focusing on the European legal framework for Artificial Intelligence, product and prototype development, business models and market strategies, access to public and private funding, as well as the preparation of investment-oriented pitches.

This programme is intended for companies established in Portugal that use Artificial Intelligence and/or High-Performance Computing in their technological solutions and that are preferably between levels four and seven of the Innovation Readiness Level. Participation is free of charge, subject to application and selection process, and the programme’s reference commercial value is 3000€ per team.

Companies interested in participating may submit their application through the registration form available at until March 20: https://forms.gle/q36WNXcB7BqhQ1cx5

This initiative is developed within the framework of the European project ATTRACT – European Innovation Hub for Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing, funded by the Digital Europe Programme and the Recovery and Resilience Plan, in the context of the Next Generation EU strategy. IPN is responsible for the design and implementation of this development cycle, with the objective of supporting the creation, structuring, and acceleration of business projects based on Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing solutions.
