Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) was present, on January 20 and 21, 2026, at the fourth plenary meeting of the European project 6G-VERSUS, which took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, hosted by A1.
The meeting had as its main focus the preparation of the technological trials to be carried out by the different geographical clusters involved in the project, with particular emphasis on the first trial, already scheduled for January 28 2026, in Portugal, at the Port of Aveiro. The various Work Packages (WPs) and their respective tasks were also presented, allowing the consortium to be updated on the progress of the project, as well as promoting productive discussions and constructive exchanges among the partners.
IPN was represented by Sérgio Figueiredo, Project Manager, João Gonçalves, Researcher, Jorge Pimenta, Director of Innovation, and Clara Luxo, Innovation Manager.
Participation in this meeting reinforces the commitment of Instituto Pedro Nunes to the development of technological solutions, contributing to the advancement of European research in the field of next-generation networks.
