Applications are now open for Circular Economy projects under the Regional Programme Centro 2021-2027, aimed at supporting companies in their transition to a circular economy through the acquisition of innovation consultancy services.
The funding is intended to support technical diagnostics of products and processes, the assessment of research and development opportunities, and the identification of solutions that promote improvements in products and processes, including the design of regenerative production models and processes aligned with circular economy principles. Applications benefit from a co-financing rate of up to 80%, with a maximum incentive of 15000€ per project, and are aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with establishments located in the NUTS II Centro Region.
This support is aligned with the objectives of Centro 2030, the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Centro Region (RIS3), and the Regional Agenda for the Circular Economy, contributing to the valorisation of scientific knowledge, technology transfer, and the strengthening of the competitiveness of the regional business ecosystem.
Within the scope of its activities, the Instituto Pedro Nunes provides environmental product diagnostics, supports the preparation and structuring of the Digital Product Passport, and identifies opportunities for improvement, research, and development in a business context.
