On November 242025, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed students from the 11th and 12th grades of the Computer Programming course at Escola Profissional Status, in Lousã. The visit aimed to provide students with direct contact with the innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship ecosystem promoted by IPN.
The welcome session was led by Carlos Nunes, Project Manager at the Incubator, who presented the institute mission, highlighting its role in supporting the creation and development of technology-based startups.
During the visit, the students also had the opportunity to learn about two startups incubated at IPN, which shared their areas of activity and concrete examples of the projects they are developing. Ethiack, presented by José Martinho, showcased its work in cybersecurity, focusing on vulnerability identification, while Haupper, presented by Carlos Santos, demonstrated the development of innovative solutions based on automation and artificial intelligence.
This initiative allowed the students to experience new innovation environments, understand the practical application of the skills they are acquiring, and connect with professionals in the technology sector.
