Students from Jaime Cortesão High School Explore Innovation at Instituto Pedro Nunes

On October 14, 2025, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed a group of students from the professional sports technician course at Jaime Cortesão High School.
The visit began with a presentation about the IPN, led by Marta Salgado Costa, Communication and Marketing Manager, who highlighted the institute’s innovative and entrepreneurial atmosphere, while also recalling the legacy of Pedro Nunes.
This was followed by Alexandre Almeida, Incubation Project Manager, who introduced the IPN Incubator and explained how it supports innovative projects and ideas in becoming legitimate companies and businesses. The students also had the opportunity to visit the IPN Incubator building, including a tour of the coworking space, where they could observe the dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.
The purpose of this visit was to give students an insight into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, helping them understand the importance of incubating and accelerating ideas and businesses, as well as the role of education and entrepreneurial spirit in developing new projects and business opportunities.
