Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) joined Technical Standardisation Committee Ad hoc 42 (CTA 42) of the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ), dedicated to developing Portuguese Standard NP 4595:2024 – “Approach to Quality and Innovation Management in Startups – Requirements and Guidelines”.
This standard was designed to address specific needs of startups, helping them to implement management processes focused on quality and innovation, through a structured framework with essential requirements and guidelines.

In this context, IPQ and INOVA Quality Hub are promoting an online training course on 16 and 17 September on the NP 4595 standard, which guides quality and innovation management in start-ups. The course, aimed at entrepreneurs, startups, and incubators, will be led by Isabel Caetano, an expert with over 20 years of experience and a member of the committee that drafted NP 4595:2024. Registration is free until 10 September here.
