The Demo Day of the 14th edition of Ineo Start, the technology and business acceleration programme run by the Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), took place on 3 July at the Convento São Francisco, as part of the Coimbra Invest Summit.

Eight were presented to an audience of investors, innovation experts and ecosystem partners, marking the conclusion of yet another successful edition of the programme.
Over the course of four weeks, the participating teams engaged in workshops, expert-led mentoring, founder talks, and pitch training, all designed to help structure and validate their business models.

Launched in 2010, Ineo Start is one of Portugal’s longest-running acceleration programmes. It has supported over 150 teams, many of which have gone on to found startups such as LaserLeap, doDOC, Sensing Future, ihCare, Mitotag, TUU, EcoX, Spotlite, NerveGen, The Loop Co and Fibersight.
This year, the Demo Day was part of the Coimbra Invest Summit, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Coimbra to position the city as a competitive hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. The event brought together key stakeholders from both the national and international ecosystems, offering a platform for emerging projects to connect with investors, institutions, and policy-makers.

- OwnMyMind – autonomous virtual psychodynamic therapist using unconscious speech and non-verbal analysis;
- AirSafe.ai – onboard multi-sensor DAA system enabling scalable and autonomous BVLOS drone operations;
- Ecosorv – natural and reusable material for selective oil recovery from water environments;
- EvoWorkforce – AI-powered simulation platform to train humanoid and quadruped robots for labour-challenged industries;
- Risimet – device combining massage and electrotherapy to optimise physiotherapy sessions;
- Fun Friend Finder – real-time social matching app for spontaneous activities, enhancing well-being and local engagement;
- Pulse-HD – non-invasive device to monitor vascular access in hemodialysis patients, reducing thrombotic risk;
- Second Screen TV – interactive platform that turns live broadcasts into immersive, monetizable viewer experiences.
