This full-day hybrid event brought together participants from across Europe — including researchers, clinicians, regulators, startups, and medical device companies — to discuss the entire lifecycle of AI-enabled medical devices, from research to market.

The programme featured top experts such as Florence Bietrix (EATRIS), Agnese Mengoli (TÜV SÜD), Christoph Guger (g.tec medical engineering), Mariana Madureira (INFARMED, I.P.), Ana Brito (IPN), Miguel Castelo Branco (CIBIT), Luís Mendes (AIBILI), Mário Ribeiro (AIBILI-Association for Innovation and Biomedical Research on Light and Image), Mariana Tibério (APORMED - Associação Portuguesa das Empresas de Dispositivos Médicos ), Helena Catarina Pereira (ICNAS - Institute for Nuclear Sciences Applied to Health) and Marta Teixeira (APPDA), who shared key insights on CE marking, clinical validation, neurotechnologies, brain-computer interfaces, and patient association involvement.
