Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN, only portuguese representative, took part in the second in-person meeting of the EU-LAC - Innovation Cooperation project, held in Madrid. This initiative, launched by the European Commission, aims to foster collaboration between innovators from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), addressing shared challenges in sustainable development and strengthening the presence of EU-affiliated innovation institutions in the LAC region.
The event gathered 17 European incubators and 16 LAC incubators with a shared mission: to build cooperation and exchange networks that connect and mobilize startups, entrepreneurs, and future partnerships.
Rui Miranda, Coordinator of IPN's Business Accelerator, was a speaker in the panel “Success stories and inspiring journeys of international cooperation,” where he presented IPN’s international experience and its contribution to the internationalization of startups. The panel was moderated by Lisa Nieth from Technopolis Deutschland GmbH and featured insights from incubators based in Germany, Colombia, and Jamaica.
