Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) participated in the first European edition of GITEX, one of the world's leading enterprise technology conferences, held in Berlin from May 21 to 23, 2025.
Representing IPN were Joana Afonso, Project Manager, and Rui Miranda, Accelerator Coordinator. The delegation also included three IPN-supported startups: ROOTkey, ByTheLaw, and JSIO.
GITEX Europe gathered over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 40 countries, including startups, tech leaders, government decision-makers, and international investors. Following its successful legacy in Dubai, the first European edition aims to become a strategic platform for accelerating Europe’s digital transformation by promoting cross-sector innovation, strategic partnerships, and technology transfer.
IPN's presence at the event was focused on increasing the visibility of the Portuguese tech ecosystem, fostering the internationalization of its startups, and building strong connections with the German market.
