Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is looking for an Innovation Manager to join the team of the Automatics and Systems Lab. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing co-funded projects from Horizon Europe, Digital Europe and EIT Health, with a primary focus on digital health initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of digital health technologies and markets, business acumen in the healthcare sector, and expertise in economic evaluation and cost-effectiveness analysis. Knowledge of reimbursement models in digital health in Europe is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of co-funded projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, milestones, and deliverables;
- Conduct economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses for digital health solutions, providing insights to inform decision-making;
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and reimbursement models in digital health across Europe;
- Foster partnerships and collaborations with relevant stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry partners, and research institutions;
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders and funding agencies.

- Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field such as Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Health Economics, Medical Physics, Medical Technology, or a related field with a strong background in technology and healthcare;
- Proven experience in innovation projects in the digital health sector;
- Strong understanding of digital health technologies, including telemedicine, wearable devices, health informatics, etc;
- Experience with economic evaluation methodologies and cost-effectiveness analysis in healthcare;
- Familiarity with reimbursement models and healthcare financing systems in Europe is a plus;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in English.
