Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), in collaboration with Liviantoni Consulting, held a specialised training programme entitled "Proposal Writing For Horizon Europe" on February 29 and March 1, which provided participants with valuable skills and knowledge essential for writing competitive proposals under Horizon Europe.
Aimed at the Research and Development (R&D) community, including researchers, research and science managers, private companies and public bodies, the training aimed to provide practical guidelines and strategies for obtaining funding from the Horizon Europe programme.

The programme covered several key topics, including drawing up the project idea, building the ideal consortium, defining a solid implementation plan and describing the excellence of the proposal to Horizon Europe. In addition, participants had the opportunity to understand the importance of innovation, carry out a systematic approach to the Impact, Dissemination and Communication Plan (PEDR), Implementation, proposal review and evaluation process sections, as well as assess the feasibility of the project plan.
The training sessions were led by Marco Liviantoni, founder of Liviantoni Consulting, who has over 20 years' experience in the field and specialises in proposal writing, financial management of EU projects and writing the impact section. Marco Liviantoni is also an EC-approved expert for Horizon Results Booster services, having provided training to prestigious EU research institutions.
This initiative reinforces IPN's commitment to empowering professionals and organisations to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities offered by the Horizon Europe programme.
