Throughout 2023, Instituto Pedro Nunes’ Incubator (IPN-Incubator) participated in the Innovation Support Programme (ISP) funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the Economic Resilience Initiative (ERI).

In December 2023, IPN's team made their final visits to Cultiv (Egypt) and Jordan Start (Jordan) to consolidate the twinning process. Rui Miranda, Coordinator of IPN's Accelerator, José Rodrigues, Business Developer, took part in the visits, during which they had the opportunity to make contact with their colleagues in charge of these incubators. The meeting took stock of the project, the activities carried out and the objectives achieved. Future collaborations were also discussed, particularly through new transnational cooperation projects.

The Innovation Support Programme (ISP) aimed to support the public and private sectors, as well as financial intermediaries, through reference institutions in Europe, by developing capacities, identifying, preparing and implementing collaborative projects with the Southern Neighbourhood countries (ISP-Southern Neighbourhood) and includes Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia. The beneficiaries were regional incubators, science and technology parks and other similar organisations located in these countries, as well as the respective entrepreneurs and startups they have set up.

The Innovation Support Programme for The Southern Neighbourhood is an initiative of the European Investment Bank (EIB), brokered by INTEGRATION International Management Consultants GmbH of Frankfurt, Germany.
