Entrepreneurship 5.0, promoted by Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) and by the
Bissaya Barreto Foundation, won the G
ood Practices in Active and Healthy Ageing Award in the Centre Region, in the Life+ Learning category.
The Entrepreneurship 5.0 is a training programme for entrepreneurship, aimed at people over 50 years old, who have a business idea and want to develop skills in this area. The programme, which has already had two editions, consists of online training, individual mentoring and a Demo Day in presence event, a methodology specifically designed for seniors and applied for the first time in Portugal.
This award, which aims to enhance the recognition and dissemination of projects and initiatives that promote active and healthy ageing in the Centre region, is promoted by the
Commission for Coordination and Regional Development of the Centre (CCDRC), in collaboration with the consortia
Ageing@Coimbra and
AgeINfuture.
The winners were announced on 6 December, during the 9th Congress on Active and Healthy Ageing of the Central Region, in Coimbra.
