The objective of Materiais 2013 is to bring together experts to present new research findings and discuss the different perspectives of Future developments concerning Materials Science and Engineering whatever the application. It is an important Meeting for the exchange of knowledge and networking with relevant experts of different countries.
After the successful of foregoing Meetings of Portuguese Materials Society (SPM), the 2013 Meeting assumes a new configuration in order to concentrate the lectures of correlated topics in two days and to facilitate the publications in target area journals. Therefore, Materiais 2013 has six main topics aggregated in two Symposiums (1.5 day/each) which allow also offering two fees depending on the delegate interest in one or both Symposiums.
The topics were selected having in mind the fields of research with the most interest to the Materials Research Community, particularly in Mediterranean and PALOP countries.
