Enhance the experiences of tourists and local communities, transforming the city and the region into a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative touristic destination.
Creation of conditions and tools to promote more sustainable and smart tourism, based on the enhancement of heritage, the digitalisation of services, and the creation of authentic experiences for those who visit the city and the region.
It involves three important actions which, interconnected, will equip the city and the region with the necessary tools to bring the project to life: a welcoming destination, a sustainable destination, and a smart destination.
Labour Observatory: identification of training needs and development of programmes tailored to current and future challenges;
Certification Model: tourists will enjoy a social, cultural, and environmental experience, increasing their interest in engaging with the local community, culture, and surroundings;
Tourism Activity Data Management Tool: a tool capable of gathering information about tourist points of interest in the city and region. Tourists will have access to a personalised experience, comprising three key stages: trip planning, support during the journey, and post-visit engagement and feedback. This tool will enable the analysis of visitor preferences and will suggest itineraries, destinations, accommodation, and activities based on their interests.
