Erasmus VET Accreditation for Staff Mobility

Challenge

IPN must remain competitive in technological innovation and in the promotion of entrepreneurial ecosystems, ensuring relevant specialised training for its staff and deepening European‑level partnerships between academia and companies.

Solution / Main Objective

Increasing international collaboration through staff mobility will allow IPN personnel to engage with cutting‑edge research in Europe and bring back new knowledge and methodologies. Mobility initiatives enable staff to internalise the use of innovative technologies and methods, integrate them into laboratories and units, and subsequently transfer them to trainees through specialised and personalised training programmes, reinforcing IPN’s capacity to provide innovative solutions to the business sector.

Objectives, Activities and Expected/Achieved Results

1. Promote innovation and applied research: Improve skills through international mobility, supporting the mission of technological development and excellence in research.
2. Strengthen entrepreneurial and cooperation skills: Reinforce partnerships with European institutions to boost tech startups and entrepreneurship, sharing and learning good practices.
3. Improve the quality of vocational and educational training: Promote staff mobility to develop skills in innovative methodologies, supporting their professional development.
4. Strengthen academia–industry links: Use mobility to improve the connection between academia and companies, focusing on technology transfer, innovation management, and high‑quality vocational training.
