On 19 October 2026, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), in co-organisation with Pink Room, Google Developers Group Coimbra and AI Nest, hosted the “From Product to Code” meetup, an initiative dedicated to product development and the challenges related with artificial intelligence.
The session was led by Carla Duarte, Innovation Manager at IPN, and Mário Gago, CEO of Pink Room, and featured David Obershaw, Professor at Stanford University, who shared insights into product development and internationalisation, addressing how to create and expand products into international markets.
The programme also included two presentations dedicated to artificial intelligence: “Thriving in an AI Era”, by Akshay Chordiya, and “Deep Dive into Claude Code”, by Mohit Sarveiya.
The sessions provided an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences regarding the opportunities and challenges of applying artificial intelligence.
The meetup concluded with a networking session, allowing participants to exchange ideas and establish new contacts.
The initiative fostered knowledge sharing and connections between professionals and others interested in product development and artificial intelligence, and was also an opportunity to get together the startups and developers community of Coimbra.
