On 16 October 2026, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed students and lecturers from the Universidade Federal do Piauí, Brazil, studying Computer Engineering, as part of an academic immersion programme organised by UC Global, at the Universidade de Coimbra.
Carlos Nunes, Incubation Manager at IPN, presented the work developed by IPN, outlining its activities and its contribution to fostering entrepreneurship, technological innovation and knowledge transfer.
The programme included presentations by two companies incubated at IPN: Haupper, presented by Carlos Santos, and By the Law, presented by André Dionísio. This provided an opportunity for participants to learn about the projects and activities developed by the companies.
The visit concluded at IPN HealthProof, where the students and lecturers had the opportunity to learn about the work carried out in this area.
The initiative showcased IPN work in innovation, entrepreneurship and research, giving participants first-hand insight into its ecosystem.
