Instituto Pedro Nunes takes part in the G[ai]A-ALFA project workshop

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) was represented by Marília Curado, Director of the IPN’s Informatics and Systems Laboratory, and Carlos Júnior, a researcher at the IPN’s Informatics and Systems Laboratory, at the G[ai]A-ALFA project workshop, which took place between 13 and 15 July at the University of Madeira, Funchal.

The event, organised by the University of Madeira and the Interactive Technologies Institute, brought together researchers and project partners to promote knowledge sharing and discuss innovative solutions for resilient digital systems and wellbeing.

During the workshop, Marília Curado and Carlos Júnior spoke at the session on Intelligent Monitoring and Well-being Systems, under the theme ‘Intelligent Networks and the Internet of Things for Digital Health: Resilience and Efficiency in Monitoring and Well-being Systems’, addressing the role of intelligent networks and the IoT in promoting innovative solutions for digital health.

IPN’s participation reinforces the institution’s commitment to collaborative research and technological innovation, contributing to the development of solutions that promote resilience, sustainability and digital transformation across various fields of application.

The G[ai]A-ALFA project – Action and Logic for Adaptable Futures – is co-funded by the ERDF through the Madeira Regional Programme 2021–2027, and brings together academic and scientific partners to develop advanced technologies to tackle the challenges of the future.
