The Demo Day of the 15th edition of Ineo Start, the acceleration programme of Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) dedicated to transforming ideas and technologies into innovative business ventures, took place on 3 June as part of the Startup Capital Summit.
During the event, the 11 participating teams presented their projects to an audience of investors, innovation ecosystem experts, institutional representatives and potential partners, within the framework of the Startup Pitch Competition integrated into the Startup Capital Summit.
Designed for early-stage technology-based projects and advanced services, Ineo Start supports teams originating from entities within the research and innovation system, including higher education institutions, technology centres, technology transfer centres and other research and innovation organisations. Throughout the programme, participants had access to practical workshops, one-to-one mentoring sessions, networking opportunities, as well as preparation for presenting their solutions to investors.
The projects presented in this edition covered areas such, digital health, space technology, agriculture, education, energy and digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.

Dormio, one of the teams participating in this edition of Ineo Start, was awarded the Startup category prize at the Pitch Competition held during the Startup Capital Summit.
The Demo Day embedded in the Startup Capital Summit programme, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, companies, institutions and other innovation ecosystem stakeholders, while creating opportunities for visibility, collaboration and connections between emerging projects and strategic partners.
Launched in 2010, Ineo Start is Portugal’s longest-running acceleration programmes. Over the years, it has supported more than 170 entrepreneurial teams, contributing to the creation of innovative startups across multiple sectors and establishing itself as a national reference in supporting technology-based entrepreneurship.
