Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), together with the University of Coimbra and the University of Minho, is responsible for the national coordination of the MIT Portugal Program (MPP). In this context, IPN is recruiting an Administrative Technician to support the day-to-day and administrative management of the program's activities, under the guidance of the MPP Executive Board.
Operational functions:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the MPP Executive Board and the program coordination team;
- Manage correspondence, agendas, communications, and contact with national and international partners;
- Organise and monitor administrative and financial processes related to the program, including events, programs, applications, reports, invoicing, and financial reporting;
- Support the organisation of meetings, events, and travel arrangements, including coordination with MIT and partner universities;
- Ensure document management and archiving, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and requirements established by funding entities;
- Collaborate with other IPN departments and with the program team based at the University of Minho;
- Perform other administrative support tasks required for the effective operation of the program.
Profile:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, or related fields;
- A Master's degree in the field will be considered an advantage;
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably in the context of R&D projects, higher education, or international cooperation;
- Experience in the administrative management of funded projects, namely Horizon Europe, PT2030, or FCT, will be considered an advantage;
- Knowledge of the science and innovation ecosystem in Portugal will be considered an advantage;
- Previous experience in an international environment or with foreign institutions will be considered an advantage.

Technical Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, namely Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Knowledge of administrative and financial project management;

- Familiarity with funded projects, namely Horizon Europe, PT2030, or FCT, will be considered an advantage;
- Experience in an international environment or with foreign institutions will be considered an advantage.
