It brings together the key stakeholders from the three sectors of Aeronautics, Space and Defence, positioning itself as a gateway to the country and a driving force for national and international players. Its strategic objectives are Financing and Regulation; People and Skills; Innovation and Value; and Markets and Opportunities. Its mission is to promote Portugal as an international reference in these markets.

It aims to identify, implement and replicate innovative best-practice projects and programmes in the field of Active and Healthy Ageing in the central region of Portugal, which has been recognised as a 4-star European reference region for the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA). The best practices identified in reference regions could be replicated in other regions of Europe, paving the way for social innovation and strengthening the competitiveness of the European innovation industry in the field of geriatrics and support for the elderly.

It is the first association of its kind in Portugal and aims to establish itself as a platform promoting a concerted effort in the field of data science, with the mission “To empower Data Science for a Better World”. As a platform for disseminating and sharing information, experience and knowledge, the RRN requires a approach that fosters sharing and cooperation in relation to the actions to be implemented, with the aim of improving the implementation of rural development programmes and policy measures and enhancing the capacity of those involved in rural development. It is a European private-sector partnership that seeks to pool resources and unite a wide range of stakeholders in AI, data, and robotics. The network aims to drive the innovation, adoption, and uptake of these technologies in Europe, while also collaborating with and providing input to the European Commission on their strategic direction.

It is the European infrastructure for translational medicine that brings together resources and services for research communities with a view to translating scientific discoveries into benefits for patients. It focuses on improving and optimising clinical practices and on overcoming barriers to innovation in healthcare.
