O IPN tem dois dos seus Laboratórios de I&DT com ensaios acreditados de acordo com a norma ISO 17025, o LED&MAT e o FITOLAB. Tem ainda um laboratório, o LAS, certificado de acordo com a norma EN ISO 13485
Considerando o Sistema de Gestão (SG) dos Laboratórios no âmbito da acreditação (LED&MAT e FITOLAB) e da certificação (LAS), o Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), assente nos objetivos gerais, tem como Política da Qualidade:

Provision of high quality services based on the consistent operation of the laboratories

The requirement that all employees are duly familiar with the MS documentation and apply the policies and procedures in carrying out their work
