Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) participated in the Excellence Hubs Community Joint Event 2026held on 26 and 27 October in Athens, Greece. António Cunha, Executive Director of IPN Health Proof presented its work with startups and SMEs to bring their healthcare solutions closer to market adoption through the European CHAngeing Excellence Hubs project.
The presentation highlighted the support provided to SME´s and starups, from identifying barriers and opportunities to developing and implementing responses tailored to their needs. Drawing on interviews with stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, this work aims to help companies overcome obstacles to the development and market adoption of their solutions.
This experience was shared with other Excellence Hubs projects, European Commission representatives and National Contact Points during an event dedicated to knowledge exchange and new opportunities for collaboration between European innovation ecosystems.
