Job Opportunity: FabLab Management – Smart Rural HIESE (Professional Internship)

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is looking for someone to provide support for FabLab management and to strengthen its Smart Rural HIESE team in Penela, um ecossistema dedicado ao desenvolvimento de ideias e empresas com impacto no território.  

 

Operational functions: 

  • Supporting the operational management of the FabLab; 
  • Monitoring users, projects and prototyping; 
  • Organising and maintaining the space and equipment; 
  • Supporting the organisation of workshops, activities and initiatives related to innovation and entrepreneurship; 
  • Liaising with the HIESE business incubator and ongoing projects; 
  • Supporting the implementation of initiatives related to digital fabrication and technological experimentation. 

 

Requisitos 

  • A sixth-form qualification, preferably with a vocational course in technological fields (e.g. electronics, mechatronics, IT, digital fabrication or similar); 
  • An interest in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship; 
  • A willingness to learn and work with digital fabrication tools; 
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team; 
  • Proactivity, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently; 
  • An interest in developing projects in a rural context.
