On 30 June 2026, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN)hosted another edition of INEO KICK – Ignition Programme for Technology-Based Businesses, an initiative designed to support entrepreneurs in structuring and validating their business ideas.
Throughout an intensive day of hands-on activities, participants had the opportunity to develop key skills to transform their ideas into stronger, more implementation-ready projects through practical workshops, collaborative work and direct interaction with experts from IPN's innovation ecosystem.
The programme opened with a welcome session led by Ana Seguro, Coordinator of the IPN Incubator, followed by a series of workshops focused on innovation, defining a compelling value proposition and developing a business model, delivered by Carla Duarte, Innovation Manager, and Alexandre Almeida, Incubation Project Manager.
During the afternoon, participants worked on planning the development of their projects, exploring strategies to monitor their progress, prepare an effective pitch and build a clear roadmap for their businesses.These sessions were led by Carla Duarte and Jorge Pimenta, Innovation Director at IPN.
The programme concluded with one-minute pitch presentations, where each participant showcased the progress of their business idea and received valuable feedback from the experts present.
INEO KICK is aimed at entrepreneurs in the very early stages of developing their projects and is designed to serve as a first step in transforming knowledge, technology and talent into future innovative businesses.
The session was also attended by researchers from various organisations within the Scientific and Technological System, as well as representatives from companies across the Iberian Peninsula, with the aim of working together to develop solutions to the challenges identified during the implementation of the DRIVEN project.
