Pedro Nunes Institute (IPN) has opened applications for the 15th edition of INEO START, one of the oldest acceleration programmes in Portugal, dedicated to transforming ideas and technologies into innovative business projects.
Focusing on early-stage technology-based projects or advanced services, INEO START is aimed at entrepreneurs and teams originating from entities within the regional research and innovation system, such as higher education institutions, technology centres, technology transfer centres and other R&I structures.
Throughout the programme, participants will have access to practical workshops, one-to-one mentoring sessions, networking with experts and strategic partners, and preparation for presentations to investors and relevant stakeholders. The programme culminates in Demo Day at the Startup Capital Summit, where participating teams will have the opportunity to present their solutions to an audience of investors, organisations and relevant individuals.
INEO START has already supported 168 teams, contributing to the creation of more than 40 innovative start-ups originating in Coimbra and the Central Region.
Applications open until 12 April.
