IPN organises event on the Advantages of Using Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing in Businesses

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) will host the event "AI and HPC in business - advantages, use cases and support opportunities" on 18 April 2024, aimed at highlighting the advantages and opportunities of using High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in businesses. Participation is free, but registration is mandatory here.
Organised in the context of ATTRACT DIH, this event aims to introduce some of the services and opportunities offered by this Digital Innovation Hub and provide a deeper insight into how these technologies can drive innovation and competitiveness in the business world.
The agenda includes presentations on "ATTRACT DIH - Opportunities for companies" by Mónica Ferreira from IPN, "Application of Artificial Intelligence in companies" by Prof Penousal Machado from the University of Coimbra (UC) and "Use of HPC in companies" by Prof Pedro Alberto, also from UC.
In addition, participants will have the unique opportunity to visit the University of Coimbra's Data Centre, providing a practical insight into the environment where these cutting-edge technologies are implemented and operated.
