Ineo Start, the acceleration programme for technology-based ideas or projects, which has already supported 134 teams, is back for its 13th edition.

Through this programme, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) will support the development of business ideas, helping research reach the market. Applications are open until March 15, 2024, at https://start.ineo.pt.

For four weeks, participants will have access to workshops, training, mentoring, and networking with experts. The workshop topics are: innovation, business models, marketing, funding, intellectual property, and pitching. It is a programme designed to support business structuring, broaden networks, and identify funding opportunities. The highlight of the initiative is Demo Day, which takes place on the last day of the programme, May 9, during which the teams will publicly present their projects to an audience that will include potential investors, partners, and customers.

Ineo Start is aimed at early-stage projects developed by teams coming from entities in the R&I system, such as Universities, Polytechnic Institutes, Technology Transfer and Valorisation Centres, Technology Centres and Science and Technology Parks.

This programme will take place during the month of April, on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, at IPN in Coimbra.

Ineo Start is one of the oldest national acceleration programmes and has supported hundreds of entrepreneurs who have created startups such as: LaserLeap, Sensing Future, ihCare, doDOC, Sentilant, Mitotag, The Loop Co., MedsimLab, TUU, EcoX, Spotlite, Fibersight, or NerveGen.
