In addition to the competencies in its own laboratories, IPN has access to a vast network of researchers, mostly from University of Coimbra, but also from other Higher Education Institutions and Research Centers.
The researchers in this network may participate in IPN projects and activities, always in collaboration with companies, thus contributing to increase their competitiveness. This contact with the business community allows the detection of opportunities for the application of R&D results in innovative solutions, with a view to their incorporation into new products and / or processes by national companies.
