That is, entrepreneurs believe that there is business potential in a given idea but everything is yet to be done (and tested) and the path is anything but easy. ineo start is a six-week acceleration program for high-tech projects that will gather around twelve teams to help their way to the market. In the five previous editions more than 200 participants have gone through ineo start. Of these, 74 teams have started businesses, with a survival rate of 85%. The teams have the following profile: ? Researchers that achieved passive R&D results that can generate competitive products in global markets ? Projects or startups in the development stage of their product/service ? Business teams in the development phase of a new product/service for global markets. The program consists of 80 hours of workshops and mentoring sessions provided by entrepreneurs/investors who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with the participants of the program. The topics of the workshops are Business Model Canvas, How to Pitch, Customer Development, Lean Prototyping, Marketing for Startups and Investment. At the end of the program there is a "Demo Day," with the presentation of startups and participating projects to an audience of guests, including investors.
