On November 18, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) welcomed a Brasil–Portugal business delegation composed of more than 40 entrepreneurs from the State of Santa Catarina.

The initiative was organized by the Coimbra City Council in collaboration with the Câmara de Comércio, Indústria e Turismo Brasil–Portugal de Santa Catarina included the participation of the Universidade de Coimbra (UC), Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (IPC), and several local companies.

The purpose of the visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the Portuguese innovation ecosystem and explore collaboration opportunities between Brazilian and Portuguese companies. At IPN, the session was led by Ana Seguro, Incubation Coordinator, who presented the Institute and its activities, highlighting its support for entrepreneurship and innovation in Portugal.

The entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to see success stories, including a presentation by Fibersight, led by CEO Tiago Neves, and to learn about the dynamics of the local ecosystem.
