The launching event gathered startups, partners and experts to discuss growth opportunities in the global market.

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) hosted the launching for the 2nd edition of Pro-Global - Acceleration Programme for Internationalisation, on 10th September of 2024, as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The event, carried out in IPN’s facilities, gathered the selected startups for this edition, partners and internationalisation experts, with the objective to boost the growth of Portuguese startups in global markets.

The opening session counted with the presence of Rui Miranda, Coordinator of the Business Accelerator, who welcomed those present and highlighted the importance of the programme for the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Joana Afonso, Project Manager at IPN, presented the objectives and main activities of the programme, highlighting the mission in supporting startups in the internationalisation process.


Then, Pedro Silveira, Commercial Director of the Portuguese Investment and External Commerce Agency (AICEP), introduced AICEP and the available tools and services that the agency has to offer to national companies.

During the event, the selected startups had the opportunity to present themselves, namely, Agilesoft Unip., Lda, Brand & Ninjas, ByTheLaw, Haupper, Lda., JSIO, Liminal, lda, Mitotag, Portugal All In - Tourism, Quicktrend Unipessoal Lda, SCIVEN e Squill were present.


Pro-Global offers a set of services and activities, such as specialised mentoring, workshops and access to a network of international contacts, with the objective to capacitate startups for internationalisation and accelerate their growth in global markets.

Pro-Global - Acceleration Programme for Internationalisation is promoted by IPN as part of the Portugues Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
