The Instituto Pedro Nunes, through its Laboratory for Informatics and Systems (IPNlis), was in the Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial in Valladolid, Spain, at the second consortium meeting of the DIGITEC project, held on October 20th.
The main objective of DIGITEC project is to identify a network of actors with recognized competencies in the areas of advanced digital technologies in the regions of Castile and León (Spain) and Central Portugal. This network aims to stimulate the incorporation of advanced digital technologies and blockchain in agro-industrial companies in these regions.
In parallel, an online event was held dedicated to the presentation of some of the project results achived so far, namely:
• the open innovation tool (marketplace), available here
• main events and initiatives promoted in the project (hackathons, fablabs, training courses…)
• results of the diagnostics applied to the companies of the cross-border region
By the end of the session, "The present and future of advanced technologies for the digitization of enterprises" was the topic under discussion at an online roundtable, in which some of the companies cooperating with the project were invited to discuss the topic.
