IPN Incubator was one of the incubators invited from European Comission (Director General of Research & Innovation) to participate in the EU-INDIA Network of Incubators and Accelerators.

The European Union has launched this initiative between Europe and India that seeks to bring together innovators, start-ups and incubators from both regions for interaction. The aim is to foster innovation cooperation between India and Europe.

In this context, Paulo Santos, Executive Director of the Incubator and Accelerator of the Pedro Nunes Institute, took part in the events of the launch event of the initiative, held in Bangalore, on 8 and 9 October.

EU-INDIA Incubators and Accelerators Network consists in ten incubators from Europe and eleven from India. Participants were invited on the basis of their innovative ability and wish to cooperate with others.

The group is chaired by Signe Ratso, Deputy Director General, Research and Innovation of the European Commission and by Gaurav Gupta, IT Secretary, BT, Technical, Industries of the Government of Karnataka, India.
