Our incubated Neuraspace launched its Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solution for monitoring space debris and preventing satellite collisions.

With the increase in space objects comes also an increase in the effort of operators, making operations not only expensive but also have a high human error risk. In that regard, the relevancy and importance of this automated product on the market comes from its ability to detect up to 50% more high risk collisions and to reduce human intervention up to 75%, whilst helping to solve the “garbage” problem beyond the atmosphere.

This solution, which is currently being tested by some of the biggest satellite operators, was developed to help unlock the extraordinary value of space economy that will now be more efficient and sustainable. This technology will be a benchmark for artificial intelligence and machine learning technology in the aeroespacial market across the world.

Founded in 2020 by Nuno Sebastião, CEO of the unicorn Feedzai, Neuraspace is a startup that aims for the avoidance of satellite collision, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate complex decision processes.

Neuraspace recently raised 2.5 million euros from investors in Portugal and is developing projects with the European Space Agency (ESA) and GMV, onde onf the biggest industrial groups in the european space market.
