Improve Participation in H2020
Challenge
Since its establishment, IPN has continuously participated, either as a partner or as coordinator, at National and European projects with internationally renowned institutions and companies. Since the Fourth Framework Programme (FP4), which ended in 1998, IPN has entered in more than 32 European projects. Based on this historical, has set as main strategic goals the increase of its European presence exporting its R&I, supporting regional companies in their internationalization’s processes and, mainly, enhancing its negotiating capability in the definition of European R&I programs’ priorities.
Solution
IPN H2020 was designed to respond to a set of opportunities, enabling IPN’s skills and resources to answer to new scientific and technological challenges and to boost its participation in European R&I programs, focusing in the thematic areas strategical for the institution.
Objectives, Activities and Results expected / achieved
This project allowed IPN to strengthen the articulation between its R&TD strategy and the work programs of European R&I programs, stimulating participation in international networks and technological platforms and establishing partnerships with business and academic-scientific European entities, which resulted in the submission of proposals to the H2020 program.
